Baked chicken and rice
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- hot water - 1 c
- onion soup mix - 3 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- chicken parts desired legs, thighs or breasts - 1 item
How to make baked chicken and rice:
Put raw rice in greased sheet cake pan. Pour 1 cup water over rice and 3 teaspoons onion soup mix sprinkled over rice. Place chicken on rice. Mix cream of chicken soup and cream of celery soup with hot water. Pour over the chicken; cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake at 350° for 2 hours, covered, then 1/2 hour more uncovered or until chicken is tender.
