Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/4 lb
- cream - 2 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- lemon - 1 item
- apple - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- boneless chicken breasts - 2 lb
- cumin - 1/2 tsp
- curry - 1 Tbsp
- to 1/3 jar Major Grey chutney - 1/2 item
- chicken stock 1 tsp - 1 c
How to make chicken curry:
In a large saucepan, melt the butter; saute chopped onion, juice of lemon and diced apple until tender. Cut chicken into chunks and toss in flour and spices. Add to onion and apples. Saute chicken until 3/4 cooked. Add cream, chicken stock and chutney. Bring to a simmer and place in casserole. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Curries.
