Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • water - 1 qt
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 item
  • chicken bouillon cubes - 4 item
  • white pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • celery seed - 1/2 tsp
  • diced onions - 1/2 c
  • can whole kernel corn - 16 oz
  • cans creamed corn - 2 oz
  • chicken breast - 1 lb

How to make chicken corn soup:

Dough Balls:1 c. flour1 egg1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. baking powder In large pot, place chicken, bouillon cubes and water. Bring to a boil and simmer 1 hour or until chicken is done. Remove chicken. Remove meat from bone. Dice meat and return it to pot. Add remaining soup ingredients and simmer approximately 15 minutes until onions are tender.

Mix dough balls by combining flour, egg, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Sift mixture through your hand into the soup and continue to stir. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 3 quarts/12 cups.
