Chicken corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- chicken - 1 item
- can cream-style corn - 1 item
- bay leaves - 2 item
- green pepper - 1/2 c
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- can whole kernel corn - 1 item
- or 1 medium onion - 1/2 c
How to make chicken corn chowder:
Boil chicken with the bay leaves, onions and bell pepper until chicken is done. Add the potatoes (can leave skin on) to the broth from chicken. Cook until potatoes are tender. Add 1/2 cup milk and flour. Cook 5 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups hot milk and both cans of corn. Cook this about 5 to 10 minutes. Stir to keep from sticking.
