Chicken cordon bleu
Ingredients/Components
- whole chicken breasts, split, boned and skinned - 4 item
- minced parsley - 3 Tbsp
- Italian bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- can chicken mushroom soup undiluted - 1 item
- slices cooked ham - 8 oz
- slices Swiss cheese - 8 oz
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- butter or oleo - 1/4 c
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- can sliced mushrooms optional - 1 oz
How to make chicken cordon bleu:
Place each chicken breast half between waxed paper; flatten to 1/4-inch thickness with mallet or rolling pin. Place 1 slice ham and 1 slice cheese in center of each breast.
