Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1 c
  • diced onion - 1/4 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • chicken breasts - 4 item
  • uncooked rice - 1 c
  • stick butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 item
  • can celery soup - 1 item

How to make chicken and rice casserole:

Combine rice, soups, water and onion. Place in bottom of baking casserole. Melt butter. Thoroughly spread over chicken, using it all. Salt and pepper chicken and lay on top of rice. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until chicken is tender and rice is done to taste.
