Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- Velveeta cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- rice - 1 c
- cans Swanson white chicken - 2 item
- Durkee fried onions - 1 item
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Saute onion in butter; remove from heat. Mix ingredients except onions using only half of the cheese. Place in casserole dish. Bake with lid on for 20 minutes at 350°. Layer with the other half of cheese. Top with 1/2 can Durkee fried onions.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
