Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- Velveeta cheese - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Durkee fried onions - 1 item
- bag carrots, peeled and sliced - 1 item
How to make carrot casserole:
Cook carrots (about a package). Melt butter; stir in flour. Add the milk and let thicken. Add cheese, salt and pepper; stir until melted. Put carrots in casserole dish. Pour white sauce over carrots. Sprinkle onions on top. Bake in 350° oven for 1/2 hour or until onions are crispy.Recipe categories: Carrots, Main dish, Casseroles.
