Chicken and potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced - 4 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- shredded Swiss cheese - 1/2 c
- 10 oz - 1 pkg
- boneless chicken breast - 1 lb
- flavored bread crumbs - 1/3 c
How to make chicken and potato casserole:
Place potatoes in a 1 1/2-quart glass casserole. Combine spinach, sour cream, cheese and nutmeg. Spread over potatoes. Dip chicken breasts in milk, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Coat with bread crumbs. Place on top of spinach mixture. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 45 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
