Ingredients/Components

  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • chicken broth - 1 can
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • parsley - 1 tsp
  • water or chicken broth
  • celery - 1/4 c
  • Prepare dumplings and place sealed edges down in soup mixture
  • can biscuits 11 oz - 1 oz

How to make chicken and dumplings:

Mix all ingredients in pan and heat until bubbly. Prepare dumplings and place sealed edges down in soup mixture. Spoon soup over dumplings. Cover tightly and cook over medium heat 15 to 20 minutes, until no longer doughy.Dumplings:1 1/2 c. chicken2 Tbsp. chopped onion1 tsp. parsley1/4 c. celery pepper to taste1 (8 oz.) can biscuits (11 oz. 1890 brand preferred) Combine ingredients in bowl. Mix well. Roll out biscuits and fill with mixture. Place in soup mixture and cook as directed.
