Chicharrones de pollo
Ingredients/Components
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, crushed - 3 item
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Goya Adobo - 1 item
- chicken parts legs, thighs, wings - 3 lb
- Goya extra virgin olive oil - 1/4 c
- lemon and 1/2 lime, juiced - 1/2 item
- packet Sazon Goya con culantro yachiote - 1 item
- Goya corn oil for frying - 1 item
How to make chicharrones de pollo:
Cut parts into morsels and discard wing tips. Season well with adobo. Mix rest of ingredients, except corn oil, and pour over chicken.Marinate, covered, several hours. Heat oil to frying temperature. Fry a few chicken bits at a time until crisp and golden (8 to 10 minutes). Drain. Serve immediately with lemon or lime wedge. Serves 4 to 6.
