Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- clove garlic - 1/2 item
- beef rump roast or any piece beef that slices well - 4 lb
- Italian seasonings oregano, rosemary, thyme, savory, sage, basil, marjoram - 2 tsp
- small jar pepperoncini juice and all - 1 oz
How to make chicago italian beef:
Place all ingredients in roaster pan. Cover roaster and bake in oven at 250° for about 2 1/2 hours or until beef is tender. Baste and turn meat several times during cooking. Take out of oven and cool overnight in refrigerator. Next day, slice bRecipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Sandwich.
