- chicken breasts, completely boned or buy chicken already boned - 8 item
- containers Philadelphia whipped cream cheese - 2 (8
- bottle dried chives - 1/2 item
How to make cheese stuffed chicken:
Bone the chicken breasts. Flatten each breast out using a meat hammer. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, chives and Cheddar cheese. Place a blob of cheese on each breast (a little less than a tablespoon). Fold the chicken breast over the cheese and wrap the bacon around it (forming a little package). Sprinkle lightly with paprika.Place the chicken breasts in a lightly buttered glass baking dish. Cover loosely with foil. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes. Then uncover and bake for about another 1/2 hour (until chicken has turned nice and brown). Recipe may be cut in half or doubled and even tripled.
