Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 4 Tbsp
  • margarine - 4 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • carrots - 1/2 c
  • celery - 1/2 c
  • diced potatoes - 2 c
  • Velveeta cheese, diced - 1 lb
  • beef or chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
  • Cheddar cheese, grated or diced - 1/2 lb

How to make cheese soup:

Melt margarine; add flour and salt. Stir well. Add 2 cups milk, Velveeta cheese, Cheddar cheese and bouillon cube. Cook potatoes, onion, celery and carrots. Drain and add to cheese sauce. Add 3 more cups of milk.

May add some diced meat, if desired.
