Cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- carrots - 1/2 c
- celery - 1/2 c
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- Velveeta cheese, diced - 1 lb
- beef or chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated or diced - 1/2 lb
How to make cheese soup:
Melt margarine; add flour and salt. Stir well. Add 2 cups milk, Velveeta cheese, Cheddar cheese and bouillon cube. Cook potatoes, onion, celery and carrots. Drain and add to cheese sauce. Add 3 more cups of milk.May add some diced meat, if desired.
