Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 2 c
- margarine
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- diced carrots - 1/2 c
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
- diced potatoes - 2 c
How to make loaded potato soup:
White Sauce:1/4 c. margarine1/4 c. flour2 c. milk2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated Combine water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper in large kettle. Boil until done, 10 to 12 minutes.Meanwhile, in small saucepan, make white sauce by melting margarine. Add flour and stir until smooth, about 1 minute. Slowly add milk. Cook until thickened. Add grated cheese to white sauce. Stir until thick. Add white sauce to vegetables. Heat through. Yield: 6 servings.
