Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- butter, softened margarine - 1/2 c
How to make cheese pennies:
Preheat oven to 400°. Using a food processor, shred the cheese. Remove the cheese and position the knife blade. Add the shredded cheese, flour, butter and dry mustard. Process until a ball forms in bowl. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 3 dozen.May be frozen and reheated in a microwave for a few seconds.
