Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- plain flour
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- dash of Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
- grated sharp Cheddar - 2 c
How to make cheese pennies:
Mix butter and cheese. Mix nuts with flour, salt and paprika. Pour into cheese butter mixture. Add Worcestershire. Blend thoroughly. If too sticky, add more flour (1 tablespoon at a time). Divide and roll (rolls should be quarter size in diameter). Wrap in plastic and refrigerate 24 hours. Slice and bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Appetizers.
