Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • onion soup mix - 1/2 pkg
  • sharp cheese, grated - 1/2 lb

How to make cheese pennies:

Let margarine and grated cheese come to room temperature, then mix. Add flour, salt and onion soup mix. Mix together and divide into 4 rolls. Roll each one in foil and freeze. Slice thin and bake in a 400° oven. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Yield: 5 dozen.
