Cheese fondue
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- onion flakes - 1 Tbsp
- Swiss cheese, cut up in pieces - 10 oz
- sharp Cheddar cheese, cut up in pieces - 10 oz
- large bread cubes - 1 item
How to make cheese fondue:
Melt margarine in fondue pot. Add flour and mix well. Add milk gradually while stirring over medium heat. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and cheese. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. When cheese is melted, add Worcestershire sauce and onion flakes. Mix well. Dip large bread cubes, ham cubes, fresh broccoli, cauliflower or whatever you'd like that is dipable.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Cheese.
