Cheese fondue
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- soft bread crumbs - 1 c
- scalded milk - 1 c
- salt if needed - 1 item
- diced or grated cheese
How to make cheese fondue:
Add crumbs and milk. Let stand for 5 minutes. Then add well beaten egg yolks, cheese, butter, mustard and salt, if used. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Turn into well buttered baking pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Cheese.
