Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • shrimp - 1 item
  • slices white bread - 8 item
  • sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 item
  • eggs beaten - 3 item

How to make cheese fondue:

Butter both sides of bread and cut off crusts. Cut bread in triangles; butter bottom and sides of casserole. Cover bottom and sides with bread. Add layer of cheese, cut in triangles, then a layer of shrimp. Continue to layer alternating ingredients until bread is used up. Amounts of cheese and shrimp will vary according to size used.

Beat eggs and milk together well. Pour over casserole. Place casserole in pan containing 1/2 inch of water. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
