Cheese and broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- melted margarine - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- grated American cheese - 1/2 c
How to make cheese and broccoli soup:
In a large saucepan, cook onion in margarine until tender. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Add cheese. Remove from heat when melted.In another pan, dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add broccoli and cook until tender. Add broccoli to cheese mixture. Heat through. Do not boil.
