  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 2 tsp
  • cornstarch - 4 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • seedless raisins - 1/2 c
  • lemon peel - 2 tsp
  • vanilla or lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
  • soda in 1 tsp - 1/2 tsp
  • shredded raw carrots - 1 c
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour in greased, round cake pans

How to make carrot pudding:

Mix all pudding ingredients together. Bake at 350° for 1 hour in greased, round cake pans. Top with Vanilla Sauce Topping.Vanilla Sauce Topping:2 c. water1 c. sugar4 tsp. cornstarch2 tsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring Boil first 3 ingredients 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add butter and flavoring.
