Apple cookies

Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• milk - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar
• butter - 1 tsp
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• powdered sugar
• dash of salt - 1 item
• cloves - 1/2 tsp
• chopped apples - 1 c

How to make apple cookies:

Icing:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar2 1/2 Tbsp. milk dash of salt1 tsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla Mix together shortening, brown sugar, egg, vanilla and milk. Sift together and add flour, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, baking soda and baking powder. Add apples and pecans. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
