Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 3
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking soda
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- unsifted flour - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 4 c
- honey - 1 c
- softened margarine - 1 c
- medium or 8 small carrots - 4 item
- Mix in a blender butter, honey, eggs, vanilla and carrots cut up
How to make carrot cake:
Preheat oven to 375°. Mix in a blender butter, honey, eggs, vanilla and carrots (cut up). Process at medium speed until carrots are in fine pieces. In a bowl combine remaining ingredients. Add carrot mixture to dry ingredients and stir until combined. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan which has been greased and floured. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.Cream Cheese Frosting:1/4 c. margarine1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese4 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla pinch of salt2 to 3 Tbsp. milk Mix with a beater until mixture is smooth and fluffy.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
