Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- oil - 3/4 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- 12 oz
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- butter/margarine - 2 Tbsp
How to make apricot cake:
Preheat oven to 375°. Generously spray Pam in Bundt cake pan. Beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes: cake mix, granulated sugar, eggs, oil and 1 cup apricot nectar. Pour into cake pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Take cake out of oven (leave oven turned on). Allow to cool for 15 minutes. During that cooling time, beat together butter, 1/2 cup apricot nectar and powdered sugar. When 15 minutes cooling time is up, pour liquid over cake and bake for another 15 minutes. Allow cake to cool 10 to 15 minutes and then carefully remove from pan.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egyptian.
