Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
- salad oil
- finely chopped nuts - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- grated, raw carrots chop in Oscar - 3 c
- Combine oil and sugar; mix well
How to make carrot cake:
Sift the flour with baking powder, soda and cinnamon. Combine oil and sugar; mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients half at a time to oil-sugar mixture. Add eggs, alternating with dry ingredients; mix well. Add carrots and pineapple. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour batter into a 9 x 13-inch oblong pan, lightly oiled. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
