Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 2 gal
- sticks butter - 2 item
- almonds - 1 c
- butter pecan syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Mix sugar, butter and buttered pecan syrup; boil. Add soda and vanilla; stir and pour over corn and almonds. (Almonds are optional.) Cook one hour at 200°. Stir every 15 minutes. Store in gallon jars for snacks. This recipe will serve 15 people.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
