Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1 c
- brown sugar, packed - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dark Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- popped popcorn - 6 qt
- soda - 1/2 tsp
How to make caramel corn:
Pop popcorn with air popper. Mix first 4 ingredients together in saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook 4 minutes over medium heat. Add 1/2 teaspoon soda and pour over popcorn. Mix well and place in disposable aluminum turkey roasting pan. Bake at 250° for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
