Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 8 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Boil brown sugar, syrup and margarine for 5 minutes on medium heat. Take off stove and be ready to stir. Add 1/2 teaspoon soda and stir. Mixture will change appearance and texture. Then pour over popped corn.A large turkey roaster pan works well. Stir every 15 minutes for 1 hour in a 250° oven. May add peanuts or pecans.
