vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
brown sugar - 2 c
soda - 1/2 tsp
margarine - 1 c
popped corn - 6 qt
corn syrup light or dark - 1/2 c

How to make caramel corn:

Melt margarine in heavy saucepan. Stir in sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn, mixing well. Turn into two shallow 12 x 1
