Caramel apple coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- cans buttermilk biscuits - 2 item
- stick butter or margarine, melted - 1 item
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- light corn syrup - 2 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- apple - 1 item
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
How to make caramel apple coffee cake:
Sugar Mixture:2 Tbsp. sugar2 tsp. cinnamon Heat oven to 375°. Mix melted butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Pour mixture into deep dish baker. Sprinkle nuts on top of mixture. Peel, core and slice apple. Chop apple and sprinkle on top of nuts. Dip each biscuit into sugar/cinnamon mixture (one side only). Place, sugared side down, in the deep dish baker. Sprinkle any remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture on top. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and invert on warmed platter.
