How to make caramel apple bars:

Filling:3 to 4 Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces (about 4 c.)2 Tbsp. flour1 tsp. lemon1 (14 oz.) bag caramel candy (unwrapped) Heat oven to 350°. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan with shortening.
