Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- soda
- buttermilk - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- boiling water - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- All-Bran - 2 c
- 100% Bran - 1 c
How to make bran muffins:
Mix the 2 brans and boiling water; let stand. Mix eggs, shortening, sugar and buttermilk; add to bran. Sift flour, soda and salt. Fold into other mixture and stir well. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°. MakeRecipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
