Ingredients/Components
- firmly packed dark brown sugar - 1/2 c
- Mazola margarine - 2 Tbsp
- Karo dark corn syrup - 1 c
- medium sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled and halved lengthwise - 12 item
How to make candied sweet potatoes:
Bring first 3 ingredients to boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Pour half into shallow baking dish; add potatoes. Top with remaining syrup. Bake at 350°, basting often, for 20 minutes. Makes 12 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
