  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • all-purpose flour - 1 Tbsp
  • ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • medium sweet potatoes - 4 item
  • pancake syrup or molasses - 2 Tbsp

How to make candied sweet potatoes:

You will need 1 Reynolds oven bag (small).

Preheat oven to 350°. Place oven bag in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Add flour; twist end of oven bag and shake. Peel and cut potatoes in 1/2-inch slices. Add to bag with brown sugar, sliced butter, syrup or molasses, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and pecans. Arrange ingredients in an even layer. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
