Ingredients/Components

  • medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced - 5 item
  • medium onion, sliced - 1 item
  • butter or oleo - 6 Tbsp
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/3 c
  • minced fresh parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • chicken broth - 1/3 c

How to make campfire potatoes:

Place potatoes and onion on a large piece of heavy-duty foil (about 20 x 20-inch). Dot with butter. Combine the cheese, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper; sprinkle over potatoes. Fold foil up around potatoes and add broth. Seal the edges of foil well. Grill, covered, over medium coals for 35 to 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
