Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 6 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • chicken broth - 1/3 c
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/3 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • medium onion, sliced - 1 item
  • fresh minced parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • medium potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced - 5 item

How to make campfire potatoes:

Place the potatoes and onion on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil (about 20 x 20-inch); dot with butter. Combine the cheese, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper; sprinkle over potatoes. Fold up foil around potatoes and add broth. Seal the edges of the foil well. Grill, covered, over medium coals for 35 to 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
