Cajun fried potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- boiling water - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- large potatoes - 4 item
- white pepper - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- onion powder - 1/4 tsp
- oil for frying - 2 c
- cumin - 1/8 tsp
- ground cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
How to make cajun fried potatoes:
Cut potatoes in cubes and cook in boiling water until just tender (about 7 minutes). Drain and cool. Combine all other ingredients in a bowl. Add potatoes and toss to coat evenly.Fry potatoes in hot oil, turning frequently, to brown on all sides. Remove from oil and drain on paper towel. Serves 4.
