  • salt - 1 item
  • pepper - 1 item
  • skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - 4 item
  • cups flour - 2 item
  • cajun seasoning - 1 item
  • cups vegetable oil - 2 item
  • quart of buttermilk - 1 item
  • small bottle of hot sauce any brand - 1 item

How to make cajun fried chicken:

Rinse chicken and place in a large Tupperware container. Cover with buttermilk. Add hot sauce. Stir to blend with chicken. Marinate in refrigerator for 6-8 hours. Just before frying, combine flour with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning in a large plastic bag.

Remove chicken from refrigerator. Place marinated chicken in flour mixture and shake well. Let chicken rest in flour mixture until coating becomes pasty (about 5 minutes). Fry in hot oil, browning on both sides. Drain on paper towels. Very crispy and tasty!
