Cajun fried chicken



Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil for frying - 1 item
- unsifted all-purpose flour - 1 c
- Cajun seasoning or mix 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- large egg - 1 item
- milk - 1/4 c
- hot red pepper sauce - 2 tsp
- fillets, separated and all pieces halved crosswise - 4 boneless
How to make cajun fried chicken:
In large skillet, heat 1/2-inch oil to 400°. In bowl, mix flour, seasoning and 1 teaspoon salt. In another bowl, mix egg, milk and pepper sauce. Sprinkle chicken with remaining salt. Coat with egg mixture; drain off excess. Coat with flour; shake off excess. In hot oil, fry chicken 6 minutes or until browned and cooked. Drain.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
