- 1/2 cup sugar - 1 item
- cups flour - 2 item
- teaspoon salt - 1 item
- 1/2 teaspoon soda - 1 item
- Add dry ingredients
- cup sugar - 1 item
- cup cream or canned milk - 3/4 item
- teaspoon vanilla - 1 item
How to make cajun cake:
Beat eggs, add sugar and pineapple with juice. Add dry ingredients. Bake at 350° in a 9 X 13 pan, for 45 minutes or until done.Icing:1 cube butter1 cup sugar3/4 cup cream or canned milk1 teaspoon vanilla Melt butter, add sugar. Cream and add vanilla. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup chopped nuts, 1 cup coconut. Put icing on cake as soon as it comes out of oven. Cover with foil immediately.
