Macaroon kiss cookies
Ingredients/Components
- soft butter - 1/3 c
- soft cream cheese - 3 oz
- sugar - 3/4 c
- egg yolk - 1 item
- almond extract - 2 tsp
- orange juice - 2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flaked coconut - 5 c
How to make macaroon kiss cookies:
Beat butter, cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add egg yolk, almond extract and orange juice; beat well. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture. Stir in 3 c. coconut. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or until firm enough to handle. Shape dough into balls; roll in coconut and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press Hershey Kiss on top of each cookie.
