Cajun baked beans
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion
- ground beef - 3/4 lb
- barbecue sauce - 3/4 c
- molasses or honey - 3/4 c
- cayenne pepper - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire - 1 Tbsp
- liquid smoke - 1 tsp
- pork and beans - 4 (16
- hot sausage - 1/2 lb
- dried mint - 1 tsp
- dashes Louisiana hot sauce - 2 item
- to 10 slices crisp bacon - 8 item
- Bitters - 1/2 tsp
How to make cajun baked beans:
Cook beef and sausage until done and drain. Cook bacon and crush over other meat. Drain beans. Mix meat, beans and all ingredients. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.It also freezes well for later use.
