Butternut squash bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- plus 2 Tbsp
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- cooked squash - 1 c
- raisins or mixed fruit - 1/2 c
- water from cooking squash - 1/3 c
How to make butternut squash bread:
Sift together dry ingredients. Beat shortening, eggs, water and squash. Combine with dry ingredients until dry mix is moist. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Squash, Yeast breads.
