  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • butternut flavoring - 1 tsp
  • butternut flavor
  • Then add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each

How to make butternut pound cake:

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar together. Then add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each. Add dry ingredients alternating with milk. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.Icing:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. butternut flavoring1 stick margarine1 c. chopped nuts
