Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- water - 1/4 c
- whole eggs - 4 item
- Wesson oil - 3/4 c
- box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - 1 item
- sugar I use 1/2 c - 1 c
- vanilla butter and nut flavoring - 1 tsp
- Sprinkle 1 Tbsp
How to make butternut pound cake:
Put 1/2 of batter in bundt cake pan. Sprinkle 1 Tbsp. brown sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon over half of the batter. Add the other half of batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Glaze.Glaze:1/4 c. butter1/4 c. water1 c. sugar (I use 1/2 c.) Mix. Boil 5 minutes; spread on cake while warm.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
