- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/3 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- vanilla extract
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- all-purpose flour
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- honey - 3/4 c
How to make butter pecan pie squares:
Combine 1 1/4 cups flour and 1/3 cup sugar in a medium bowl; cut in 1/2 cup butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture evenly into a greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.Combine next 7 ingredients and beat well. Stir in pecans. Pour filling over prepared crust. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until firm. Let cool on rack; cut into squares. Yields about 3 dozen.
