- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg - 8 oz
- egg - 1 item
- margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- butter pecan cake mix - 1 pkg
- oatmeal oats
- Filling:1 can butter pecan frosting
How to make butter pecan bars:
Filling:1 can butter pecan frosting8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened2 eggs Heat oven to 350°. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. In large bowl, combine base ingredients; mix until crumbly. Reserve 2 cups for topping; press remaining crumbs into prepared pan. Blend all filling ingredients; beat at highest speed until smooth and creamy. Pour over crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over filling. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until firm when pan is lightly shaken. Chill before serving.
