Broccoli cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 pt
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1/2 c
- water - 2 c
- cold water - 3 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- fresh broccoli
- Velveeta - 1 lb
How to make broccoli cheese soup:
Steam or boil broccoli until tender. Place half and half and 2 cups of water in top of double boiler. Add cheese, salt and pepper. Heat until cheese is melted. Add broccoli. Mix cornstarch and 1 cup water in small bowl. Stir into cheese sauce in double boiler and heat until thickens.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Soups & stews.
